SZ M3000 - End-of-life

Dear valued customer,

We are forced to announce the End-of-Life (EOL) for the M3000 series of test systems, specifically Sm02B Test Station manufactured by SZ Testsysteme, Amerang, Germany, which has been around for almost 40 years. The reason for this announcement is an obsolesce of many components used in the Sm02B and which are required for proper system maintenance and repair. Support of UNIMET 3000/4000 is not affected by this announcement.

The End-of-Life notification date is 31. December 2024.

Support for accessories such as test adapters will continue for at least 10 years (exceptions apply) as well as the regular calibrations will continue in the same manner after this date.

In case of damages found during the calibration, the repair will be done at best effort basis, without a guarantee.

As a suitable replacement of Sm02B we propose new UNIMET 2020 test system which is fully compatible with M3000 and its accessories. Guaranteed support for UNIMET 2020 is 10 (ten) years.

We understand that this announcement may be unwelcome news to you and your organization, but this decision is difficult for us to make. We apologize for any of your inconvenience.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and assistance in helping us to help you minimize the impact of this product discontinuation on your company and your customers, hopes that this EOL will not affect existing service relation.
